A: Payments will be automatically rejected when this game is out of date, so there is no risk of sending money into the void. If you are in any doubt then get in contact with me directly and I'll write back personally.

Q: Why is it so cheap?
A: I think it is a crime when publishers charge $19.50 for games that are not worth even half of that. I am able to price this game at an affordable sum because I am offering the game for sale directly, rather than through a publisher.

Q: Do you accept other payment methods such as a check or cash?
A: Sorry, no. Please do not send me payments in the post as I may not be able to process them. I am open to ideas about alternative ways to accept payment and may introduce them at a later date.

Q: How long will it take?
A: Payment by PayPal is easy and instant so you will usually get an e-mail back from me within a few minutes. My processing system is semi-automated which means there could be a delay of up to 24 hours. If you don't receive anything within 2 days then please don't be afraid to get in contact. If the file attachment is being rejected then we can arrange an alternative way to get the file to you.

Q: I sent you payment but didn't get anything. What now?
A: Please check your e-mail inbox carefully, there will be a zipped file attachment that contains the upgrade. If you don't see anything yet then be patient, it will usually take from a few minutes to a whole day before you get a reply. If you are in any doubt then please feel free to e-mail me. I may be away on holiday and unable to process any requests until I return, so please check the website for the latest updates.

Q: What will I actually get?
A: You will get a .zip file e-mailed to you which will upgrade the installed shareware version of PowBall DeluXe to the full registered version. You can keep this file in case you need to re-install the game in the future. You will need to unzip this file and run the installation file inside. Please ensure your mail client does not reject file attachments.

Q: I lost the upgrade file. Can you send it to me again?
A: Yes, certainly. E-mail me proof of original payment and I will confirm your original order and then send the file to you again. You can find a transaction ID in your PayPal transaction history.

Q: How can I trust you?
A: PayPal payment systems will protect you, the buyer, from fraudulent transactions. If you are unhappy with your purchase or do not receive anything after a considerable time and you are unable to get a refund from me, the seller, then contact PayPal and they will issue a refund after they make an investigation. So with this in mind your purchase is very safe.

Q: Can I send the .zip file to my friend?
A: No. The upgrade file is protected by copyright laws and distribution is prohibited. This file is for your own personal use and you may only make copies for personal backup use. Please only send the shareware version to your friend in its original form and encourage them to order the full version.

Q: Where does my money go?
A: Directly to me via PayPal. I pay a small percentage to them for their payment service. This is much better for me as a publisher would take a huge percentage.

Q: Why should I pay the author anything?
A: You don't have to if you don't want to. You may continue playing the shareware version. But if you want all the extra features that are included in the full version of PowBall DeluXe then you have to pay for it. Your money will help to pay my bills and will go towards the creation of new and better games from me. More importantly than that though, you will be showing me your appreciation of my work which gives me some very much needed confidence and brightens my day.
